Political science major Amarah Din spent a semester interning with Hite Law in Boone. During the term, she was exposed to many facets of the firm’s operations, including interaction with clients, courtroom procedure, filing records with the clerk of court, etc. She also learned the significance of client confidentiality and built strong customer service skills. Amarah said the following about her internship:
“Interning at Hite Law has allowed me to take what I have learned in my classes and
apply them to real world situations. I have been able to deepen my understanding of the
law and the necessity of legal representation, especially in the High Country, and I will
continue to reflect on my internship experience as I pursue a career in the legal field
myself.”
