Dr. William Hicks

Dr. William Hicks joined the Department of Government and Justice Studies in 2014. His primary field of study is American Politics, with a specific focus on direct democracy, legislative processes, legislative behavior, and representation in the American states. His research interests also include political science research methods broadly, and applied quantitative methods for clustered and longitudinal data specifically. Dr. Hicks’ recent publications have appeared in refereed journals such as Political Research Quarterly, American Politics Research, and State Politics & Policy Quarterly.
