Allison Coakley, a senior public administration major, chose the Yosef Club for her spring internship. The Yosef Club is the fundraising arm of the AppState Athletics Department and is a part of the AppState Foundation. Allison’s goal is to someday be the director of development for a large university. Through this internships she was exposed to many facets of fund development and administration. Allison said, “I loved the Internship at the Yosef Club because it allowed me to interact with donors and learn how to be an effective professional fundraiser. Through this internship I received many thousands of dollars in pledges and assisted in numerous hospitality events for our donors. During this experience, I could see public administration in action and learned how to communicate professionally with staff and donors.”
