Dr. Ellen Key ( Appalachian State University) and Dr. Jane Sumner (University of Minnesota, Twin Cities) had their article “You Research Like a Girl: Gendered Research Agendas and Their Implications” published in the July 2019 issue of PS: Political Science & Politics. The article suggests that research agendas may be gendered and that variation in research topic might be to blame for the submission gap.
