Dr. Paul Lucas

Dr. Paul A. Lucas earned his Ph.D. in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His areas of teaching and research focus on courts, problem-solving courts, program evaluation, and criminal justice policy. Dr. Lucas has experience working with a variety of different problem-solving courts across the United States and, in addition to other on-going research projects, is currently the principle investigator for two federally funded program evaluations involving the Ellis County Felony Drug Court (KS) and the Forsyth County Veterans Treatment Court (NC). His most recent research has been published in Police Quarterly, Drug Court Review, and The International Journal of Law and Psychiatry.
