Dr. Andy Koch joined the Department of Government and Justice Studies in 1995. He earned a Ph.D. and a M.A. inPolitical Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Dr. Koch's latest book is Materialism and Social Inquiry in the Continental Tradition in Philosophy(2017). He has also authored Medieval America: Cultural Influences of Christianity in the Law and Public Policy (2012), Democracy and Domination: Technologies of Integration and the Rise of Collective Power (2009), Poststructuralism and the Politics of Method (2007), Romance and Reason: Ontological and Social Sources of Alienation (2006) and Knowledge and Social Construction (2005).
